Ras Al Khaimah Police launches its Remote Evaluation and Inspection System
Ras Al Khaimah Police (RAK Police) has launched its Remote Evaluation and Inspection System, with the initiative set up to track police operations and ensure the continuity of performance evaluation that forms part of its yearly inspection plan.
Announcing the launch of the system via a remote conference, Ras Al Khaimah Police described its array of benefits. The conference featured His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police; Brig. Abdullah Khamis Al-Hadidi, Acting Commander-in-Chief of RAK Police; and a number of RAK Police general directors.
“Launching the Evaluation and Inspection System will help to achieve an array of important goals, the most significant being a reduction in the time needed to conduct evaluation and inspections. The system also dispenses with the need to conduct field visits to police departments during the current period, enabling us to continue our important assessment functions while observing the necessary precautionary and health measures that are in place to combat the current COVID 19 pandemic,” said His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, during the conference
His Excellency said that the new system would assist in tracking the results of national performance indicators at both the public office and police station levels, with its incorporation of modern technologies including Artificial Intelligence techniques facilitating highly accurate remote evaluation and inspection operations.
